This four-part series will delve into the innovators of tech culture, from the curiosities of college computer labs of the 1960s to early Silicon Valley in the 70s, through the darker origins of utopian cyberspace in the Reagan era of the 80s.  These forefathers of the computer age would influence hackers for generations to come and in the age of the home computer, as law enforcement and the media scrambled to create boundaries for this emerging frontier, ultimately shaping the 21st century as we know it.

The story of June (Anna Chlumsky), a still-life painter, and Henry (Francisco Solorzano), a fiction author, each caught in an emotional winter of their own. Unable to tap into their creative spirit, all seems lost for Henry and June when a simple twist of fate exposes each of them to the symbols of each other's dilemma.

Like the Water

A young journalist (Caitlin Fitzgerald) returns to her hometown of Camden, Maine, to write the eulogy for her best friend, Katherine. Charlie's assignment unearths deep guilt at not being a better friend, which only fuels her long-standing resentment toward Katherine's girlfriend. On the eve of the memorial, they are forced into a confrontation, and Charlie goes too far. She must learn to pick up the pieces when words are not enough.

The Jam Master Jay Foundation for Music believes that every student deserves equal access to the arts. Music, performing and visual arts, and dance should be in every school, in every region of the country, both rural and urban, allowing children to expand their worlds. Art is challenging and is often seen as a reflection of our society. When students are sufficiently provided with this essential education, they feel enriched and better able to envision a greater future.

URCHIN

Deep under Manhattan, the Old Man rules Scum City. He swears to lead them to a paradise within the hollow earth. Terminally ill and insane, Goliath decides to find five noble souls and present them to the Old Man; by beheading those he deems worthy of the honor. Meanwhile, a Scum-City dweller known as The Kid, 9, is armed with a water gun, tries to do the Old Man's bidding, tangling with deadly gangsters and drug dealers, and eventually Goliath.
