2600 Magazine

I have been the primary cover artist for 2600 Magazine: The Hacker Quarterly since 1996, under the pseudonym Dabu Ch’wald. From 2001 to 2003, I collaborated with Mike Essl, and in 2006 in collaboration with French Canadian illustrator Fred Guimont. Starting in 2004 the covers have had a yearly theme; propaganda, transportation, illustration, animals, dying tech, Emma the Operator (my daughter’s lineage), electronic anachronisms, censorship, treasure hunt, emotions, bleeding edge, and in 2015, coordinates.
